IS IT SAFE?
No-one can be hypnotised against their will and when in trance people can still reject any suggestions given if they are not appropriate. You will not lose consciousness.
Clinical Hypnosis should not be confused with the stage hypnosis used for entertainment. You remain awake and in full control of your actions during treatment. It's essentially a very beneficial and pleasant experience.
Is all Hypnotherapy the same?
There are different types of therapy for different problems:
SOLUTION FOCUSED THERAPY
Especially effective for treatment of stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence, fears and phobias, weight loss and much more. It helps desensitize you from emotions of the past or future events and to achieve goals.
The subconscious mind accepts suggestions during therapy to promote and reinforce positive messages. Used for stopping smoking, exam nerves, nail biting and similar problems.
Sometimes events in our early life can have a negative influence on our present behaviour. Through analysis these events can be identified and sometimes this alone will alleviate symptoms.

The length of treatment might range from about 3-4 sessions for minor phobias to perhaps 8 -10+ sessions for someone who is clinically depressed. Weight Loss on an individual basis.
